Shake Residence Guesthouse

It was the Owner's desire to remodel this 50's house into a two story villa style home. We were able to build on the existing foundation adding two stories and retaining some of the original structure.
By salvaging the existing foundation and some walls we were able to save close to 4 months in the planning process with the County.
The entry creates a bridge where the original entry was located with two story glass opposite the entry door and views to the outdoor decks and pool that is placed on the axis of the entry.
